Trying to find Jones

Information please regarding a Welsh family JONES - I know it's a common name, especially in Wales so don't all rush...please! This family centrered around the Rhondda Valley, living in Penygraig during the 1900 to 1930's had a father, David Jones, who originated from North Wales and was a mining engineer who died I believe during the 1930's. Sons named William (Bill), who won a medal for valour during the First World War. Other sons Dai, Evan (known also as 'Ianto' who was a pigeon fancier), Robin and Thomas (tom), who was my dad. Sisters Ginny and Mary. They lived in Balaclava Row at No.21. I'm trying to complete a family tree and cannot determine where the father, David, came from. I don't have the mother's name (my paternal grandmother). I believe that both came south from the Snowdon area. Would appreciate help through any contact made. Thankyou. John.
