Can anyone help please, My husband's Gt Uncle was SYDNEY THOMAS JONES b c1888 died 1956 in Rainhill Lancs, his wife is believed to have been M.D.I ......?(possibly known as Minnie), It is known that Sydney was a chorister at St Ann's Church Rainhill Lancs for 63 years, but we are unable to find either his birth certificate or details of their marriage, his known siblings were Llewelyn Jones b 1885(my husband's grandfather) Mary Jones and Margaret Massey Jones also known as Dolly(Massey is a forename). Their parents were Llewelyn Jones Snr and Mary Jane SMITH born 1852 and 1854 respectively and married1876, the children were all born at LEA GREEN Railway Station, nr St Helens, Lancs where their father was Station Master at the time. There could also be a brother Frederick T Jones who appears as informant on Sydney's death certificate but nowhere else as far as we can see.Thank you for reading this, Val in Poynton, Cheshire
