Hi Trying to help my mum. Five years ago she discovered that she had been adopted in 1946.What a shock to the system. Born in Oct 1943in Bournemouth .Only info that can be found was parents names and their marriage cert. Father was John Charles Thomas Burridge and mother Esme Jane (nee Jones from Phillipstown, Bedwellty(?) Wales).They were married in New Tredegar,Bedwellty on 6th April 1940. John was a printer and by the time of mum's birth was in the forces.Mum's bith name was Ann Lorraine Burridge. Does this ring any bells in your family? Any info to help trace back would be great. |
