Member Since: November 2002 Posts: 0 Send Message	Trying to fill in the gaps in my Jones Line from Worcestershire RICHARD JONES b. 1815 Worcs. His parents were JOHN & ANN JONES but apart from names know nothing else about them or Richards siblings Richard married APPOLONIA BIRCH...or did he? Not yet found a marriage entry. However that did not prevent the birth of ten children all born GREAT MALVERN, WORCS. GEORGE 1842, WILLIAM 1843, WALTER 1845, ELIZA 1848, RICHARD 1851 [died in infancy], RICHARD 1853, MATILDA 1853, ANN 1856 and CHARLES 1856 [both died infancy] and lastly my gt grandfather CHARLES HENRY b 1860. RICHARD [1853] married EMMA TYRES and lived in KIDDERMINSTER one of their children becoming headmaster of a grammar school in the area. MATILDA remained a spinster and moved to BIRMINGHAM to become a sweet shop proprietor CHARLES HENRY married SARAH ASHWORTH 1883 and also moved to BIRMINGHAM. Had 3 children Lily, Ernest and Frederick [my grandad]. If any of this rings bells no matter how small a bell please get in touch. Willing to share info plus have access to quite a few census returns.
