Seeking descendants of CHARLES EDWARD JONES, born Banbury 1865, and/or his brother HERBERT JOHN HENRY JONES, born Banbury 1870. In 1901, Charles E lived in Cox St West, Balsall Heath Birmingham, with his wife Kate R, and children Charles H (1888), Frederick E (1890) Percival G (1892), Doris K (1894) and Margaret (1896) He was a printer-compositor. At the same time, Herbert JH lived in Gosford St, Balsall Heath with his wife Rose Amelia Louise and daughter Hilda Louise (1899). He was a painter and decorator. One of their children known as Bert Jones,( possibly Charles H), became a photographer with his own business Warwick Studios at 32 Shirley Road, Acocks Green Birmingham. Kate R died in 1953. Would be grateful for any contact or knowledge of this family. Charrles E and Herbert JH were my grandfather's brothers. Colin Jones. |
