I am trying to find any ancesters of WALTER STEVENSON JONES born 1859 Mansfield Notts on 1881 Census was living as a boarder with Hanson family in Manchester. Married Elizabeth Pendlebury in 1881 1901 Census as follows Walter Jones Head 41 Iron works B Mansfield Notts Elizabeth Wife 40 B Manchester Elizabeth Ann Daur 18 Cloth Cutter B Manchester Sarah Daur 15 Cloth cutter B Manchester Jane Daur 11 ' (my Grandmother) John Son 1 ' Alice Daur 12 ' Elizabeth Ann, Alice and John never married also my mother had not heard of a Sarah so she may have died before my mum was born (1930) John commited suicide in either his 30s or 40s If anyone has any info about Walter, Elizabeth (Wife) or Sarah - can you please contact me |
