Jacob Jones was born C1796 at Kemble Wiltshire. He was a Stone Mason In 1851 Census he and his wife Ann b C1797 at Kington, Wiltshire, were at St.Anne Birkenhead. Their son George Jones b C1819 at Cirencester was also a Stone Mason. He married Sarah Crossley and lived at Bredon,Worcestershire. They had a son George Crossley Jones b 1851, again a Stone mason. He married Margaret Jones in 1872 and settled at Crickhowell, Breconshire where my Grandfather William Henry Jones was born in 1875.
