hi iam trying to find some information on a william and hannah jones. william was from the buckley area of flintshire and was born in 1825 and hannah same area born in 1828. they had at least 3 children samuel,james and joseph my husbands great grandfather. joseph was killed in gresford mine in 1913, he had two sons albert and robert my husbands grandfather.joseph was married to a margaret sherrington. robert was married twice once to a eliza griffiths and secondly to a isabella?. we think there is possibly a connection to spon green farm/cottages, aberdovey terrace,daisy hill and lane end. if any one recognises any of these names please get in touch. julie |
