Family lore is she was born Colourcotes (excuse spelling) which I think is a small coastal village between Whitby and Middlesborough . I can only find one possibility in 1871 census @ 5 Acklam Terrace Middlesborough and no trace of marriage

Cullercoates is actually in Northumberland. It is just north of the river Tyne, near North Shields. At the time you want it was part of the parish of Tynemouth. Unfortunately the parish records for this time are not on the IGI

ive only just got in touch with great cousin after 40 years and the cullercoates originated with his mum . have rechecked tree as there was a nag in my mind . It was her gran (Isabella Wann ) not her mum that was from northumberland .
