Sorry first chance i have had to get back to the comp Bertha was Johns 1857 sibling.
i cant find ne thing about her i know she married a somerville thats about it. I was thinking that it was one of the other sisters but she went under Bertha instead of another first name. I know it wasnt Mary B Seaton, pretty sure she was born Stirling along with all the rest.

Not much more can be found now, with any certainty, without the info from the marriage certs. but you have quite a bit to be getting on with.

BMD for Scotland can be looked up, and certficates can be ordered, through Scotlands People web site.
