I am trying to find out any information regarding my Grandad.

He was always known as Jimmy and lived in Patricroft, Eccles, Manchester.

On his marriage certificate to Lilian Paterson his name is shown John Daly but he signed his name James Daly.

I know that his dad was called James Daly who was deceased in 1952 when he got married.

I know that he was a member of the Merchant Navy and during the years 1945 to 1952 he lived with Leah and Albert Fagan in Higher Croft, Patricroft, Eccles.

I do not know his date of birth or who his mum was or where he was born.

If you have any information please let me know.
