If you google Samuel John Batchelder 1875 Loddon Norfolk ,I think he is John Roberts brother,it goes to a site about Norfolk pubs i.e The Angel.
It says samuel was landlord there and there is a picture of his daughter Violet Martha born 1907 married to James Saville behind the bar in 1952-4
