Just looking at the list of marriages for Edith I would think the last one, Joseph Beddall Toxteth Park is possible cos Ormskirk is not far from Toxteth Liverpool |

Hi Joan just had a break for lunch. It is the Hewitt family I am interested in. I have them well documented, so I wouldnt want to put you to the trouble of searching for them. My original family are in and around St Helens in Lancashire, and of course Ormskirk is only a short distance away. I have them up to 1911 now and of course no way of tracing them after the 1911 census. I found this family with an Edith Ellen Hewitt, so as a long shot I was trying to tie them into my Hewitt's!!!! I thought the lodgers Surname might turn up as a name that I know. I really am clutching at straws!!!! Thanks for your help |

Thanks Ladies, its a poser isnt it. I thought perhaps a fresh pair of eyes might see it better than I. I am still looking for my fathers birth mother and this family have a daughter Edith Ellen on the 1911 census, but I am unable to connect this Edith to my family, I thought the lodgers surname may give a clue or a connection. I have been around in circles and I have soooooo much information now on this family and my family with the great help of GR members, but naughty Edith is still missing lol thanks anyway best regards Eileen |

Please could I have help with this record. I have looked at the original for this address on the 1891 census, but I can't make out the surname of the lodger James. I would be grateful if you could all look at it, perhaps you can read it better than I. Its only the lodger that Im'e interested in. Thanks for your help Eileen |
