Iam desprate to find any relations left in uk, have tryed on quite a few occsions through Genes Reunited but to no avail . We were quite a large family from Staffordshire. My Grandfather was a Thomas Jackson born Tettenhall 1806 and married a Mary Ann Jones Before coming out here toTasmania1840 ?? His Father was also aThomas Jackson who married a Sarah Bamford in St Marys Lichfield in 1794 .All I know was he was listed as a farmer from Staffordshire and some how I believe he may have been employed by the East India co in 1700s. surely I must have some relations who can assist me .Rod Jackson Melb Vic |
