Hello from Spain, I am trying to find anyone who worked at Wimbush Bakery or cake shop around 1938. The shop was in Sparkhill, Birmingham. I am looking especially for anyone who knew and worked with Jimmy Jackson, he was Scottish and was living as a lodger in Avon Street Sparkhill. I would be very greatful for any information about him.He must be about 89yrs old now, or any of his family. What happened to him, did he go back to Scotland or was he called up for WW2. It is impossible to trace him because his name is a common Scottish name and I have drawn a blank everywhere I have tried. I have recently found out that he is a very close relative.
Cheers everyone,
Pauline Walker.
