Well we may have found the right family then Robert!! Albert is a coal miner Hewer so worked underground. All the children went to Public School on the census I put up. |

I have a feeling either the Albert on the census was wrong or the Alfred on the cert, either way, the Edith and Wombwell fit, and given that I can't find anything that is exactly right...but I will let the well oiled cogs turn and see if anything more comes up...thanks to all so far!! |

just for info on the above 1911 census on the original Edith is listed but crossed out. They appear to have put down all their children and then scrubbed out those who are not at home. Edith is listed as being 15 so that would put her age right. |
