Have you got It ?
Can someone please look up Thomas Hutchings b 1867 Devon returning to UK from Canada 1878-1960. looks like there were several trips.
Also there is a Criminal Resister 1878 -1960 with the name Thomas Hutchings.
Just wondering if that's my man ?

Thanks to anyone.....I don't have world wide....only basic.

That 1868 Thomas Hutchings looks like it could be him as he did go to USA to get married.
Can you look further into that one...is that possible?

His mother was Catherine Hutchings b1851 she emigrated with her new husband George H Hoskenb1852 and their son William H Hosken b about 1880 ?

Could you see when they all went to Canada it must have been about 1881-1900 all from Devon

Someone did mention a passport Application 1795-1925 for a Beatrice Hosken

The other child was Thomas Hutchings b 1886/7 from DEVON .

I am so grateful to you for what you have just found...at least I have something to work on.

A Gordon Stanley Hoskin enlisted for WW1 in Canada. He was born 17 Nov.1894, Ingersoll, Ontario. Next-of-kin was sister Beatrice Hosken, 426 East 25th St., New York.

Yes that's her Her birth place is actually ( Torquay ) Devon so that makes it her alright .

Actually, Marilyn, perhaps only Beatrice moved to USA. Gordon Stanley gave his address as 16 Major St., Toronto, Canada. Curious that he named his sister as next-of-kin, making it sound as if parents were deceased.

He was Catherine's first child out of wedlock ......its him that I find difficult to find a death for .

On the 1920 US census Beatrice Hosken, age 37, born England is a boarder in New York City. She's a nurse and emigrated to USA 1909.
