Find Ancestors

Hi All I'm hoping someone would be good enough to trace the census records (especially 1851) for Joseph Howard born c 1825 & his wife Harriet (c1831).I know they lived in Essex probably Colchester area and had a son Henry Isiah (1847) ,unfortunately don't know if there were any other children ,seems the information I previously had was incorrect

Yes the extra people were lodger and visitor on the census

Thanks Christine & Jax for researching further ,sorry for not getting back sooner.
Christine the first census details can i assume that its for the 1891 census ,unfortunately the 1871 details don't relate to Henry due to the fact that he was single (widower).
jax if that is the correct marriage details for Henry's parent then would mean a rethink of Henry's DOB.Think I'll put that in my could be file .

How do you know Joseph and Harriet are his parents?
Do you have Henrys marriage cert?
Just because they married in 1850 Henry could still have been born in 1847ish

What is the occupation given for his father on the marriage cert?

Wonder if this could be his birth reg as he married as Henry Isaiah.

Dont as yet have a copy of Henry's marraige cert but was given the details regarding his parents over the phone by someone who has a copy ,if I remember rightly i think fathers trade was a sail trimmer or something in the nautical trade.
As I'm at work haven't had chace to check out Isiah Howard born 1845

Well if thats the case I dont think Joseph and Harriet are his parents as Joseph was an Ag Lab
