Trying to find Houghton

Do you have a William Houghton born in Pershore Worcestershire in your family? If so please read on. I have been tracing the Bluck family and in Dec quarter of 1883 William Henry Houghton marries Elizabeth Bluck in Birmingham. On the 1891 census William & Elizabeth are living in Birmingham with her sons either from 1st marriage or illegitimate, their sons as a Houghton couple and Alfred James Need. On the 1881 census William Houghton born in Pershore is living with his housekeeper Mary Need and her sons including Alfred James Need. William married Mary in Dec quarter of 1884. I think it is the same William Houghton as Alfred James Need appears on both the census with William. What I am curious about is how he seems to have kept 2 families going or is there 2 William Houghtons? Karen |
