Horrocks-Ibbitson and Horrocks-Clark - can anyone help in trying to connect these forebears? We have a Horrocks listed in both the Ibbitson and the Clark strands of our family.

One is Annie Horrocks Ibbitson (1824) (formerly a Horrocks, married name Ibbitson) who always insisted on being called A H I in full. There is also a family portrait of a Mrs Horrocks (very old) coming down through the Clark side. Annie married Thomas Ibbitson (1822) and they had Henry (1844). Ibbitson family generally Leeds based. A relative aged 92 says that Annie was related to the 'linen' Horrocks' of Lancashire.
