Trying to find Higham

I am trying to find any relations of Edward Higham born 1909 died 1944 of kidney infection in Stockport. He married Flora Barby in 1933. I know that his father was called Alfred Higham but I am having real trouble finding out any further information. I believe that Alfred's wife was called Selina and that they had three children - Edward, Doris and Alfred however I am having trouble confirming this information. If anyone could help I would really appreicate it. Thanks Lee Higham

Hello there Lee,

I am happy to open up my family tree for you if it will help. I am from a large Higham family that have been based all around Stockport since the late 1700's as far as I can see.

I am not sure that it will be of any help in your initial search for your father's immediate ancestors but I have so many branches yet undiscovered that it may tie up later on...you never know! Sometimes working the other way can reveal a link.

All the best and good luck.
