The mysterious disappearing family! I've got a few of those! Sometimes it just helps to give up for a while and then come back to it later.....you'll probably find her mistranscribed as Betty Blenkinsop or something!

there is a Betsey Jenkinson marrying in Liverpool in 1876 -
either James Warnes or Thomas Ross McKenzie
but cannot find them in 1881!

think I might give up for today!

I will buy the death cert - but it will probably be the Hadley address in 1871

what I was hoping to find was his parents & siblings (if any) on the census.

The address on the birth cert for 1839 is Mary's Place, Chadwick Street, Liverpool says Howard Street district

Yes that's Martha in the 1871 -
I've got her from then until she died

maybe Robert was not going to get better and went home to die.
Unfortunately because I can't find him in the 1861 I don't know what his occupation was
