Robert Richmond JENKINSON b.20 May 1839 - Liverpool (have cert)
son of John JENKINSON & Betsey RICHMOND
John was a 'Mariner' at time of son's birth.

Robert married Martha HADLEY 26 Jun 1871 - Brixworth, Northamptonshire.

Robert died also in 1871 - Northamptonshire (shortly after marriage)

can anyone find this family on 1841 / 1851 / 1861 ?????
I've searched and searched!!
there is a birth in Mar 1841 - Liverpool of Alice Richmond Jenkinson. but I can't find her on the census either!

Please help if you can - before I'm bald from tearing my hair out!!

Yes that's Martha in the 1871 -
I've got her from then until she died

maybe Robert was not going to get better and went home to die.
Unfortunately because I can't find him in the 1861 I don't know what his occupation was

I will buy the death cert - but it will probably be the Hadley address in 1871

what I was hoping to find was his parents & siblings (if any) on the census.

The address on the birth cert for 1839 is Mary's Place, Chadwick Street, Liverpool says Howard Street district

Can you remember what Roberts occupation was on marriage?

If his father was a mariner, he might not be present on any of the census's....!

can't remember! and only put the date into my computer! could kick myself!

there is a Betsey Jenkinson marrying in Liverpool in 1876 -
either James Warnes or Thomas Ross McKenzie
but cannot find them in 1881!
