Anyone related to Henry & Louisa (Luisa) Hemmings. The names involved will be Hemmings, Seanna, De Seirra, (Louisa's parents were supposed to have owned a big fishing fleet in South Africa somewhere). Josephine Southgate and she marrried into the Luck family. Originally in the South Africa, Johannesburg area. My father was John Reginald (Darkie) or (Boysie) Hemmings. His Mother, my Grandmother was spanish and she also had a sister, Theresa, I think, she married a Southgate, Jacky was the first person my dad saw when the POW camp in Germany was opened at the end of the war. Hope someone can help, have had a good response so far from some Hemmings, which is really great, but would love to hear from some of the others, |
