Member Since: July 2003 Posts: 0 Send Message	Looking for any information about my Grandmother Lily Haynes Born abt 1879 she gives her place of birth as Carthorpe Yorkshire on the 1901 census by which time she is married to my Grandfather John Jefferson her father according to the marriage certificate is George Haynes Shoemaker deceased. She may have been born in Bedale workhouse and her mother may have been Ellen Haynes but I do not know for sure
