Although the birth is out on this by a couple of years - so possibly not.

I don't think so because his age dosn't match other censuses that he's on, I have already looked at that line but I can't be sure.

Had a look at the original for 1871 Potty - I think it should be Mary Ann and not Morgan - mistranscription??? The age of 55 is in the Female column.


On the 1881 census Charles Haylock born in Spalding is in prison and his age is given as 22 this time which would make a birth around 1860.

I think Mary Ann in the 1861 is a bit young to be the mother of all the children - she would only have been 13 when the eldest was born.

Have found the family in 1851 and 1841 - Mary Ann's age on the 1861 is out according to those.

Clara was a widow in1901
Just can't find him on earlier censuses.
