Hi there! I'm new to all of this and have only been going for a couple of weeks. The Hart family onmy fathers side have lived mostly in halstead and surrounding areas of essex, if anyone could give me any help and advice that would be greatly appreciated. Dee Hart

Hi Dee
It's a long time since you posted your Hart message but I've only just seen it.
Hart was a common name in that area. My family seems to have started in Colne Engaine and the earliest I have is Samuel married Judith Halls 1819.Children were William 1822, David, 1824, Sarah 1826,Rachel 1829, Stephen 1833.
David was my Gr. grandfather and I have more info about him and his family. Any help to you?
