Looking for children of Thomas George Harris born in 1883/4 Newington, London, England (blindmaker). After the war he had one leg. Married to Jane Bowman in 1904 and resided at 70 Cator Street, London. I know of two children: James Richard Harris and Charles William Harris 1918. A long shot I know but ultimatley I'm hoping to trace Thomas' war medals. He was in the 1st Battllion East Surrey Regiment.

Hi Zoe, I don't recognise any of your Harris names, but was wondering if you have come across a Gladys Nellie Harris, born on 1st September, year unknown but probably about 1912-1922. She was living in Camberwell 1945, where she gave birth to her second illegitimate son. He was called David and was given up for adoption. I married David in 1969 and he would dearly love to know where his brother is. Hope you can help. Good luck with your own search. Best wishes, Claudia
