Hi Can anyone help me. My husbands father married Ethel Winifred Jacobs in 1934. His father was Ernest Harris born about 1872 in Mitcham in Surrey. He married a woman named Fanny do not know her maiden name. They had at least 4 children Charles Elsie May and Arthur. Can you tell me anything about this family |

If you put your father in laws birth certificate you would also have his mothers full maiden name. When was their eldest child born and where? |

Sounds like them. I have got a birth certificate but it is a little one how do I go about getting a larger one with all the details on? |

This looks like the most likely marriage. You buy the certificate from GRO online using the reference given for £7. Read the Tips for Newbies over on Tips board - it will give you an overview of researching and also board etiquette. Thank you!. |
