Astra,
Thanks, it looks like the right information for the 1861 census but I'm not sure about the Thomas Gresty and Mrs Gresty with two infants David and ??? in 1893 as there doesn't appear to be a David in the 1901 census.

Warmbells Report 28 Aug 2009 15:43

Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help with some information on the names of Gresty and Bramwell? I have found my grandparents on the 1911 census Joseph Gresty and Robert Bramwell (Whitesmith) and also in the 1901 census with their parents, Thomas and Mary Ann Gresty & Thomas Bramwell (Blacksmith) (widower 1901) and Thomas Gresty with his parents, also Thomas Bramwell with his wife Eliza in the 1881 census. I can't seem to find any thing in the 1891 census or the 1871 and before census lists.
Any help most appreciated.
