Hello Jean - I would be interested to know more details about Thomas Enoch, to try to establish if there is a link with my family. This is because I have discovered that my Gt gt gt Grandfather was named Enoch Gratton, born in Denbighshire in 1809. He was a tenant farmer who lived all his life in Denbighshire/Flintshire. From census records I can see other Enoch's in the following generations, and Liverpool is not far away. Since I first saw the Gratton name in the records, I have been fascinated, as it is the only English surname in my Dad's family. If you have the info, can you let me know where Thomas Enoch was born, and the dates. Perhaps we can link up? Regards from Pam |
