Trying to find Gerard Spicer, my husband's school friend. He came to live in Skelmersdale,Lancs, (at no.1 Castlehey) in the mid 1970's, attended St.Lukes Primary School, but went back to America after only a year or 2. He had about 4 siblings and we think his Dad might have been a policeman and he played golf! They left thier dog, Shane, with my husband's family! Anyone remember the Spicers or keep in touch with them?

what were all the deleted postings about? never seen so many!

wouldn't it be better to delete the whole thing and begin again?

Madeline

Madeline Report 11 Feb 2010 15:58

Anne of GG: They were just all my nudges!

AnnCardiff

AnnCardiff Report 11 Feb 2010 16:36

hi there - still think the same - as there is virtually nothing on the whole thing, delete the lot and start afresh!!!

Ann of GG: is that what people do then, just keep renewing their posts after several nudges?

SylviaInCanada:
You are overstepping the mark here, with what you see as your "helpful" advice.
I find it really quite offensive (even hurtful) of you to suggest that I am wasting my time, not just to me, but to anyone else with similar posts, searching for friends/relatives. After all, that's what this message board is for.
I wonder how many other people you have offended in this way.
I shall continue to post my threads as often and however I choose.

Thanks Ginny,
no, my husband doesn't know if he had a middle name.
I've looked on White pages and Zabasearch, even writing to one in Colorado over a year ago, but had no reply.
Will try that link later though.
Thank you for your interest.
