MY GREAT GRANDFATHER WAS JOHN GARRETT BORN 1856 MARRIED TO MARY A ? FROM DUDLEY. ONE OF THEIR DAUGHTERS, MY GRANDMOTHER LILY BORN 1900. ANY ONE RELATED TO THESE PEOPLE GET IN TOUCH. LILY'S SON MY DAD IS STILL ALIVE AND I WOULD LOVE TO GIVE HIM INFO ON HIS FAMILY. HE IS QUITE ILL AND THIS MAY PERK HIM UP.

Denise I'm not connected but think I can give you Mary Ann's maiden name. From the 1901 census I see that she was born about 1864 and that children were born in Barnsley.

Mary Ann RADFORD birth registered Dudley Sept quarter 1863 volume 6c page 98 and marriage of John GARRETT registered Barnsley Dec quart 1881 and one of the two brides on same page is Mary Ann RADFORD.

I have got a printout of the 1901 census re where they live etc. I would have liked to know if there are any relatives living still in the area.
