Hi Lyn, Just noticed your post. I have a copy of the Frapwell Family Record Book. Not sure if you are researching the past to trying to 'find the future'!

Eva's line began to our knowledge with Walter James FRAPPELL. Because of this change of spelling it is impossible to link this line to the 'main' family lines as we cannot tell from which branch they came.

However, Walter James Frappell b 1837, coal miner. married Adelaide Lear, had children : Victoria 1859; Adelaide 1863; Walter James 14 Jan 1863 in Radstock; Fred 1868: Francis James 1878.

All children were registered as Frappell, although all but Fred (who emigrated to australia) were married as Frapwell. ' Walter James Jnr left Radstock Somerset, on a high wheeled bike for the coal mines of Auckland Durham, at the age of 17 - he was known there by the name of Frapwell'. He married twice 1st to Dorothy Gatiss and 2nd to Eleanor Margaret Wilkinson and between these wives appears to have had 9 children (only the first being to Dorothy).

Of these, the 7th Albert Frederick 1892 (Chester le Street) married Hilda Minnie Smart, they had 3 children Frederick Alan 1920: Eva 4 June 1925: William Smart 1928: Eva worked at Loyds Insurance (Shipping)

As you said Eva then married John Nelson Holland and they had a daughter Judith Ann, born in Surrey on 24 November 1951. Although I think you mentioned Doncaster, this does not tie in with our records.

Sadly our records go no futher, I dont know if this has helped you at all or just told you what you already know!
