hi,trying to find which part of ireland my grandfathers parents came from.his fathers name was john flynn and his mothers was elizabeth mc que.they went to new york in 1865 and my grandad was born there on feb. 7 1866. he was christened feb 11 1866 in church of the immaculate conception east 14th st. new york.they returned to ireland in 1868 and had a further son called edward in 1870. family tales say john went back to america and family lost touch.eventually elizabeth with her 2 sons ended up in sunderland co/ durham england. edward never married but my gradad married rose ann hughes and they had7 children. we are now part of a large family. i would be very grateful if anyone in ireland knew john and elizabeths story. pat mc lean
