Hi folks: My great grandfather Robert Flynn was born in Ireland. He married a lady named Jane in Drumshanbo, Lietrim County. they had 3 children in Ireland named Stephen, Ann Jane and Robert while still in Ireland. They emigrated and ended up in Canada where 2 more sons were born, my grandfather William Henry and Noble Alexander. I have found marriage records relating all these children to Robert and Jane. I need to know Jane's maiden name(who we think might be Belford) and if possible, where in Ireland the births took place. Robert Flynn died in April 1868 and is buried just outside of Hanover Ontario along with Jane who is listed as Mrs. Flynn. She died several years later. any information connecting this family would be thrilling as they are such a mystery for me. Thanks. Mary Dunn(nee Flynn) |
