Hi everyone, Anybody got any information on the following please, whivh side of the family they are connected to, etc? Albert Fishwick, sapper Royal Engineers, born St Helens, killed 7.8.44 western Europe theatre. Harol Fishwick, infantry The Loyal Regiment N. Lancs, private, born St Helens, killed 16.10.42 in Malaya. John Fishwick, infantry The Duke of Wellington Reg, private, born St Helens, killed 9.5.44 in Italy. James Fishwick, Lancashire Regiment, born St Helens, killed April 1901 at The Seige of Ladysmith, South Africa, The Boer War. Many thanks, Robert Fishwick

Hi Robert,

My Uncle Albert Fishwick died around 1944 whilst serving abroad, he was my father's brother. All the family came from Sutton in St Helens, his father John William was a fruiterer and vegetable merchant with a couple of shops in St Helens and a cart or two.
