I am searching for any relatives of Samuel Toten Finch. He was born in 1820, christened in Bethnal Green. Parents James Finch and Elizabeth. Married Jane 1845 in Rochford, Died 1899 Essex. Had several children Elizabeth, James, Rosetta, and Maria Mary. The family lived in Belgrave street, Middlesex in 1881 census. He was a customs officer. Has anyone got this unusual middle name of Toten in their tree? Maria Mary Finch married William Francis Cooper in January 1881 in Poplar. They lived in Leven Road, Bromley by Bow. They had a son Samuel Francis and daughter Sarah. Rosetta Finch was witness of marriage. Anyone who has a connection could they please contact me. Kind regards Monica Ward (formerly Cooper) |
