Margaret Parsley My great, great grandmother was Christian Fielder born 1812 in Bexley, Kent. She married Robert Saunders, a marina, born 1807. They lived all their married lives in Ryde, Isle of Wight where Robert was born. They had at least 4 children. Robert died in 1868 and Christian in 1875 in Ryde. I have come to a complete blank with my research on Christian. If anyone has any information I would be very grateful.

I hope that you had some success in finding information about your great-great-grandmother. I am also a Fielder descendant and am finding it hard to find any information. My great-grandfather was Richard Fielder, born in 1856, lived in and sailed from Liverpool. His sister was Jane Fielder. His father was Henry Fielder, who stated on a census that he was a gardener and Richard stated on his marriage registration that Henry was a mariner. Richard's mother was Catherine Bone who married Edward Fielder in Marylebone before marrying Henry. I am having difficulty finding birth certificates and baptismal records on just about everyone in this line.
