Isaac Evans, born abt 1825 Pontypool, Monmouthshire, Wales.Died 1878 in Newport, Monmouthshire. Married Elynor (Elizabeth) Lewis on 6 January 1845 and had Frederick Evans in 1846, Sarah Eli Evans in 1848, William Evans in 1854, Martha Ann Evans in 1857. Then married Mary Jessey Watkins on 15 November 1858 and had Caroline Florence Evans in 1861, Mary Jesse Evans in 1863. Then married Elizabeth Mary Brown on 24 March 1864 and had Richard Brown Evans in 1866, Evan Ralph Evans in 1867, Hellen Augusta Evans in 1869, Janet Mary Evans in 1871 (died 1871), Lillian Evans in 1873, Charles Evans in 1875. According to Isaac's marriage certificates his father was Evan Evans. The above Evan Ralph Evans married Mary Elizabeth Collings on 15 July 1903 and had 9 children. I am looking for any information on these families. I would be happy to share what information I have with other descendants. Mark |
