Here we go again!!
I have grandma marriage certificate; 3a 1345 - 1922

Elsie Winifred Martin (spinster aged 23)
married
Clarence George Bampton (bachelor aged 30)
on 27 March 1922 in the district of Eton, county of Buckinghamshire. easy!

His father - John Robert Bampton, I have lots on him

Her father is not named!

Elder family members state she was a cockney, born within Bow Bells, giving her birth as: 1899. They also remember 'auntie Lil' and 'auntie Em who went to australia'

1901 census gives Elsie (age 2) born London O Ford Bow, very nicely within a family group (though no lil nor em!) maybe born later

It's from there I lose her! - and the plot!

the only one I found with any promise is 1911 census, district Marlborough (wiltshire) with 'Edwards family' (odd family makup)

'daughters' do not have 'heads' name!?

is London St. Georges Hanover Square near O Ford Bow?
London O Ford Bow is Bow Bells according to Wiki.

I have found a birth for the right name 1899 - but its in reading!
(2c 372)

Not sure where to go from here!

help from someone with more experience then me (and time) greatly appreciated (with credits to spare)!

regards
