As you have the year of birth for each of them, you could look for possible deaths on Scotlandspeople. If they died after Statutory Regisration began in Scotland in 1855, then the death certificate will state if they are or had been married. The informant may also be a family member. Scottish death certificates give the names of the parents (if the informant knew) so you will know if you have the correct person. |
