Dobsons in Carlisle, Cumberland, England

I am the 4th Great Grandson of John Dobson who was born around 1781 and married Catherine Grave (she died in May 1847).
They lived in carlisle, England and had children John, henry, William and Thomas. Young John was born in Westnewton, Cumberland and the others were christened in Allonby.
John senior possibly had a sister called Rebecca born around 1780 and died in 1850 in English Damside, Carlisle.

The Dobson family had 2 subsequent generations of large families in Carlisle before moving into Scotland and other parts in the the late 1800's and early 1900's.

Does anyone have any connection to theses Dobsons or know of any other ancestors?
