Can anyone help I am trying to track down the birth certificate of my father, however have 3 different years of birth, His death certificate in 1979 gives d.o.b. as 25/06/1923, however his marriage certificate in 1947 gives it as 1926, however I was always told1929, as I don't know my Grandmothers Maiden name, I am having real problems tracking it down, only other info I have is that his Father Edward John Dixon was a painter & decorator in Bury St Edmunds, so I am assuming he was born in that area. |

So it looks like Tony I found above is the correct one in 1928. Possibly all your dates were wrong! |

It looks like you are correct, I believe Brenda was younger than Tony, however everything else I know is wrong !!, do you know if the his date of 25th June is correct for his birthday?, and how would I start to look for Simon, I believe he is a younger brother I have never met, he had my elder sister Denise, in 1951, and me in 1965, then he split from my Mum Irene nee Wrighton, then married a Hylda Margaret and I have been told they had a son Simon, I think he should have been born between 1965-1970 |

Sharon, looking for births after approx 1929 involves checking every birth image for the name each quarter on pay per view sites such as Ancestry (or take a subscription) It is a time consuming job. |
