Find Ancestors

I am trying to trace Alan Dickenson born approx 1935 to John & Violet Dickenson. John was known as Jack I who I think died in 1989 in stoke on trent. Alan would be my fathers cousin and we lost touch with his family many years ago

Thanks for the reply I think he was probably born in staffordshire appart from that I really do not have a lot to go on as my Dad has not seen or heard from that side of the family since he was a young boy

Trying to find a birth with Griffiths for allan Dickenson but there is not one.
I will hold fire until we get some more info,and get the correct name for mother.

That Alice V Griffiths could very well be Alice VIOLET Griffiths know as Violet??

There are another three possible children on Ancestry 1 male and 2 female - the male Patrick K was born in 1932 and then a girl in 1939 and another in 1943 all born in Wolverhampton.

Thanks for that it looks like a possiblity so were there 4 children altogether?

I have now got the death cert for his father and it was Alan dickenson of Newcastle staffordshire who registered it so thanks for that. His father died in may 1989
So that gives me a bit more to go on
