Hello,

My grandmother Eliza Baines, born Ballybromhill, (Ballybrommell)?County Carlow, Ireland, 14th July 1877, was the child of Thomas Baines and Catherine Delany (Delaney)? Family legend has it that Thomas was a Major.

Eliza married James Cummins (my grandfather, she was his 2nd wife) and had 7 children to him, Josephine, James, Terence, Eileen, Thomas, Joseph and John, (my father) . By his first wife, (unknown), James had 4 children, Etta, Mary, Elizabeth and Catherine.

I would be grateful if anyone who has these names in their tree,or has access to Irish records would contact me.
