I am trying to locate anyone with the surname De Castella. I cannot find any in the census's or other files, except my Father, David C De Castella, birth registered QTR March 1948. Other than this I have drawn a blank. I know some lived in Eastbourne. Katherine / Catherine was one name I know but again I cannot find her or any others. Please help!! |

davids mothers maiden name was yates, found marriage jose c de castella and nina m yates, 10a 1737 jas 1947, nina margaret de castella died in fulham sept 2000, she was born july 1925. if you send for marriage cert you will have both fathers names. i hope this has helped. |

My Grandfater is Jose Carlos de Castella, born 1923 / 1924 and my Grandmother was Nina Yates, born 1925. They married in Wallasey. Katherine de Castella was my Grandad's adoptive mother. I do not know the name of his father. There was a sister who was possibly called Josette. Sorry for being vague! |
