Member Since: January 2005 Posts: 789 Send Message	HUGH SYKES DAVIES Born 1909 Prestwich, died 1984 Cambridge. Hugh is part of my family tree and I am trying to find out more about his 4 wives and children he had. I do know he married and divorced a Kathleen RAINE in the 1930's and married a Marjorie and Fay( re married this lady). May have had sons Trevor and Gavin, daughters Judith and Kate and a daughter (no name) who ended up a lawyer in New York. Hugh was a novelist, poet and academic spending most of his life in and around Cambridge University. He had many famous friends, including Salvador Dali, T.S Eliot, Wordsworth and links with the 'Cambridge Five', Blunt, Maclean,Philby and Burgess. I have the family tree prior to 1909. There is a lot on Hugh on the net about his associates and work but little about his own close family, is there anyone who can fill in the gaps please? Regards Brian Davies
