According to my adoption papers, my birth mother's name was Irene Ruth Dale, however I can find no trace of her birth (1924) in the BMD. There is an Irene R. Dales. If this is the same person, she married John L. Barlow in Basford, Notts in 1967. Irene R. Barlow married Jack Higgins in October 1986 in Birmingham. It is possible that she is still alive. I believe she had younger sisters, Mary and Enid Dales and possibly another sister,Gwendoline Dale and a brother, Gordon W. Dale. Gordon was born in1934. The mother of these Dales and Dalses was born Desborough.I've been longing to find my birth mother for 55 years, ever since I found out I was adopted. I would be so grateful if anyone could help to put me in touch with any of the people named above. |
