CUNNIFFE I am trying to contact any descendants of Richard Cunniffe c1817, lived in Roscommon, Ireland. I am descended from his son, Patrick who came to Yorkshire, England and married Thirza Widdeson then moved to Sandiacre, Derbyshire Hoping to hear from someone.

I am not sure that there is any link. But a large contingent of Cunniffe's lived in Eckington Derbyshire. They were mainly coal miners and Public house owners. Most did move to Yorkshire in later years after 1900.. The Roscommon conection rings a bell but I am not sure where.
